3. Orders and Payments

We kindly ask you to read through and understand our terms and conditions before you place an order at Maire Lou.

3.1 All orders placed through our website are subject to product availability and our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion.

3.2 Maire Lou does not provide a guarantee that all items listed in the Maire Lou webshop are available for order at the time of purchase. If an item is out of stock, Maire Lou will promptly reach out to you via email.

3.3  Prices are in the currency indicated at the webshop. For non-EU customers, additional taxes, customs charges and other levies may be incurred by your local Customs Authority on your import, at applicable rates. The customer is responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes.

3.4 Payment for your orders can be made using the payment methods provided on our website. By providing your payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method you selected.

3.5 You shall pay all fees or charges to your account in accordance with the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee or charge is due and payable. 

4. Delivery and Shipping

4.1 We deliver to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA.

Delivery time and shipping costs are provided on our website.

4.2 We aim to deliver your order within a reasonable timeframe, but we are not responsible for any delays caused by external shipping carriers.

4.3 Please note that we are unable to cancel an order once it has left our warehouse and  that the shipping cost is non refundable for returns. If Maire Lou fails to deliver within 30 days, you may have the right to cancel the purchase.

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1 We follow the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler) and the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen). 

5.2 You have the right to withdraw your purchase or return your product by submitting or sending an notice to Maire Lou within 14 days of the date on which you have received the product.

7. Responsibility

Maire Lou is not responsible for the technical equipment and software required to use the webshop. Maintenance disruptions may occur periodically, and Maire Lou is not liable for any disturbances, disruptions, or other issues that may arise in connection with this. Maire Lou cannot guarantee that the webshop will always be free from defects like viruses or spam. Additionally, Maire Lou is not responsible for any misprints and disclaims any errors in pictures and texts. Maire Lou's liability for claims, except in cases of willful conduct or gross negligence, is limited to the price of the item(s) in question. Consequential damages are not covered by Maire Lou.

In case of force majeure, Maire Lou's obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and Maire Lou, can, in such cases be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Maire Lou.

11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law, and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Swedish law.

12. Disputes

12.1 If a dispute regarding these terms and conditions should arise, the consumer should contact Maire Lou’s customer service and try to resolve the disagreement as a first step. A dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be brought to the court in the place where the defendant resides. The consumer may also, in accordance with the regulations in the Swedish Code of Judicial Procedure (1942:740) bring a suit to the court in the place where the consumer resides.

Your access and usage of the Website and Services signify your acceptance of this Agreement.
